Finley Engineering's Michael Boehne has a very unique perspective on the future of the wired home network, connectivity to the smart grid, and the economics of making this a reality, especially when you are dealing with rural communities and small towns.
Working with mostly smaller telphone and energy companies, they provide engineering service as they have feet in both in both camps when it comes to telecom and energy services.
Much of the work they do is the deployment of triple play fiber to the home networks.
His company helps to figure out the best technology and best design to use. The work they do is in rural American and smaller communities and are involved in many of stimulus projects with the AARA - America Reinvestment & Recovery Act which are helping communities deploy their networks.

Everywire is a blog that will talk about G.hn and related wired networking news.
